High Voltage Transmission Lines (HVTL) are a way of transporting electricity across long distances. They may generate high AC Magnetic Fields and residential areas should be more than 600metres from such sources.

Underground Powerlines are also used and hidden in plain site which we may not be aware of. However, may potential pose a possible EMF hazard for occupants of a home if positioned close to such locations.

Oil and Gas Pipelines are also widely used across Australia and not so much a problem, however, they often have RF transmitters to facilitate private communications infrastructure.
