Vacuuming
Education for Everyone!
How you vacuum your carpets is REALLY important! It should take 1-3 minutes per square metre.
However, having the RIGHT vacuum cleaner is also IMPORTANT!
Key things in a vacuum!
- A vacuum cleaner should have a bag to collect the dust and dirt.
- The head of the vacuum should be a POWER HEAD. By this, I mean, a brush head that is powered by a motor and electricity. The brush head should NOT turn from the power of the suction of the vacuum cleaner.
- The vacuum cleaner should have a HEPA filter and even an activated carbon filter. The HEPA filter filters the fine particles and the activated carbon filter filters our the odour and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Grounding/Earthing – Does it really work?

All too often, Building Biologists see clients that use grounding sheets or grounding mats for their electrical equipment.
This has the potential to attract the AC Electrical Fields to the grounding mat/sheet AND your body. This could make things worse, and if you have an electrical wiring problem, then you may have further problems.
